Reporting sections

Reporting sections are the sections of the reporting structure in Fyvel. They are defined organisation-wide and are the basis for account assignment, categories, and reports.

read existing P&L or balance-sheet sections
create new reporting sections
change the order
change names or properties of existing sections

Scope

Reporting sections are organisation-wide. You do not need a companyUuid.

Important notes

list_reporting_sections can filter by accountType
profit_loss is the P&L in the app
balance_sheet is the balance sheet in the app

Where reporting sections are used

Reporting sections are needed, among other things, for:

list_accounts with a reporting-section filter
bulk_create_categories or change_category
report logic that is based on the reporting structure
