Fyvel MCP
The Fyvel MCP server exposes financial data and master data from Fyvel to MCP clients. A client can, for example, load companies, maintain accounts and categories, read bookings for mapping, or evaluate reports. For an introductory overview with benefits, setup steps, and copyable prompt templates, see the MCP overview page on fyvel.io.What Fyvel MCP covers
- Companies — list the legal entities of the organisation
- Reporting sections — read and manage the reporting structure
- Accounts, categories, and cost centers — load and maintain master data
- Account transactions — read bookings for an account with period, search, and pagination
- Open items — read DATEV receivables/payables and maintain Fyvel annotations
- Mapping — read bookings for the mapping workflow and set categories
- Manual entries — create areas and read, add, change, or remove manual bookings
- Reports — read, calculate, and edit reports in a structured way
Scoping
The bearer token sets the organisation. MCP clients therefore do not need to ask the user for an organisation UUID or pass one. Many tools also work at the level of a single company. For that you need acompanyUuid, which you load with list_companies.

- Organisation-wide: reporting sections, cost centers, and reports
- Company-specific: accounts, account transactions, open items, categories, mapping, and manual entries

- Manual entries: write tools work only on the manual booking layer in Fyvel
